Manizales - From the 27th of November and the 1st of December the training course “Biocultural Heritage valorization and resilience for sustainable territorial development” took place in the central campus of Caldas University in Manizales, Colombia. The event has been organized by the Internacional Training Centre of the Internacional Labour Organization (ITC/ILO), Caldas University and theLatin American Centre for Rural Development (Rimisp) through its Biocultural Diversity and Territories Working Group. Forty participants coming from 13 territories of 9 departments of the country and 6 different latinamerican countries (Bolivia, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, México and Peru) attended the course, joining lectures offered by international and national experts and improving their knowledge through dialogue and exchange with a large number of people coming from different academic and professional backgrounds. During the training course, the participants had the possibility to visit two different sides of the Coffe Cultural Landscape: the occidental side of Caldas Department and the touristic route called "Ruta del Cóndor".
